The challenge

To produce custom back supports to suit the client’s back profile, in addition to the standard support.

The solution

A structure was made using 20 x 20 mm rectangular section steel tube with two additional back support pads, positioned high and low to give support where needed. The pads were made from foam blocks covered with a leatherette type material and fixed to the existing stool frame with bolts.

The benefit

The client can sit without discomfort.
