Charlotte need a means of getting the whole family out and about. Her electric wheelchair took up too much space in the boot to allow room for a pram. She contacted Remap Cleveland to see how we could help.
Charlotte’s condition meant that the use of a sling or any kind of carrying device wasn’t practical so we explored the possibility of adding a child seat to the wheel chair to remove the need for a pram.
There was a delicate balance between making something that was practical to allow access to the seat’s occupant, but without obscuring Charlotte’s view while operating the chair.
Charlotte can now get out and about with the whole family!
