iPad stand for AI text to speech app.

The client uses an AI app on her iPad to read documents. Unfortunately the iPad has to be held very still when capturing the image and she was struggling with this (ad so did I when I tried it out). Her OT contacted us as asked if we could make a stand to hold the iPad and an A4 sized document so that she can have it read to her.

Mounting Baby/Child Seats To Wheelchairs

A soulution to the recurring demand to mount equipment to wheelchairs including Wanzil trend babyy carrier, YEPP child bike seat and a solution for non-child carrying purposes using an offset socket which can be useful for other devices (for example a tray).

Oven transfer shelf

This handy shelf allows Daniel to slide hot dishes in and out of the oven safely.

Step-up platform

21 month year old client with achondroplasia (short stature) cannot use standard steps etc to access sinks, toilets and worktops. His mother is having to hold him so that he can wash his hands, etc. and  she would like him to be able to do these things safely by himself.

Speech communicator

Our client was having trouble communicating with those around her. Her low vision and other disabilities made talking and using equipment difficult. The solution, specially developed by Remap, was a dedicated speech communication device.

Aga stove lid lifter

The client’s reduced strength made it difficult to lift the heavy lids on her Aga kitchen stove.

Stove top guard

  The client needs a guard to hold pans on top of his kitchen stove while he stirs. The stainless steel cage clamps on the side of the stove.    

Child’s steps

A 3-year-old child with cerebral palsy is unable to walk unaided.  To promote her independence, her mother wishes her to be able to use the wash basin with minimal assistance.  She had already bought wooden steps and needed side rails for safety. Height adjustable tubular steel rails were fitted.  

Kitchen wire baskets

The client suffers from sever arthritis and has difficulty in bending to access her kitchen floor cupboards. Wire baskets were purchased form B&Q and fitted using appropriate brackets. A hook tool was made to enable her to pull the baskets out without bending. Bristol Panel case ref. 12\15-05
